iPhone Photography for Serious Photographers – Sponsored by Glazer’s Camera

Online Class | Cost: $99

This class is for photographers who are serious about their photography. They understand the principles of photography and know how to use conventional cameras to create interesting images.

In addition, many of these photographers have iPhones and want to use them for more than just simple picture-taking. They want to create serious photos, much like they would with their conventional cameras.

If a photographer does use their phone to create these types of images, a separate workflow for iPhone photos isn’t always convenient or ideal. It’d make more sense to also integrate one’s mobile photos into their primary desktop-based editing ecosystems, using programs like Lightroom Classic and Photoshop.

If you are one of these photographers, this class is for you.

Topics covered in this class:

  • Comparing iPhone camera systems

  • Understanding computational photography

  • File formats: JPEG, HEIC, DNG, Apple ProRAW

  • Camera apps: iPhone’s native cameras, Lightroom camera and Halide

  • Camera settings: Auto, manual, HDR, etc.

  • Shooting black & white in-camera

  • Using traditional camera techniques, such as slow shutter and limited depth of field

  • The power of a single photo editing ecosystem

  • Using Accessories (lenses, tripod heads, and more)
